Woodstraps, designed by Summumstudio, is a sculptural and modular lighting piece born from the reinterpretation of a crossbow’s form and tension.‎ The upper slats of natural wood veneer arc gracefully into a cohesive volume, creating a dynamic structure that leaves the central light source partially exposed.‎ Metal components, subtly evocative of belt buckles, not only secure the wooden elements but also allow for slight adjustments, adding versatility and technical finesse to the design.‎

More than just a lamp, Woodstraps is an exploration of balance between tension and release, rigidity and flexibility.‎ Its refined composition results in a captivating dialogue between materials, light, and structure, an object that feels both engineered and poetic.‎
