ALLUMETTE APPLIQUE is a wall lamp in metal.
The transparent PMMA light element at the end of the arm is designed to create a suspended effect in space.
From the LED source at the end of the arm, the light seems to dissolve.
In contrast to the solidity of the metal structure, the softness of the textile cable contributes to the dynamism of the design. Starting from the base of the central pole, the cable forms a fluid shape, molded by gravity rather than a rigid path, introducing an interesting interaction with the structure itself.
Allumette is a new product collection presented during Milan Design Week 2025.
A project that plays with the theme of the traditional chandelier, reinterpreting its aesthetic codes with the aim of transforming light into emotion and creating empathetic connections between people and objects.
‘Allumette’ means ‘match’ and evokes the idea of a light that gently ignites.
The project, born from a technical and structural approach, is that of a family of chandeliers intended for central spaces, playing with the marked contrast between materials and the concepts of asymmetry and balancing opposites, moving between lightness and presence, rigid geometries and soft lines.”
